Please read the terms and conditions before using the service as these form the legal agreement between the web host (Speedy.uk.net) and the user / client (you).

Your Conditions of Service

Service is provided to you, the user on the following terms:

• You will use the services provided for lawful use only.
• You may not upload pirated software.
• You may not use the services for hosting pornographic content.
• You must have the right to use all the content used in your website. Do not break copyright on images or text.
• Excessive use of bandwidth will require upgrades to higher level hosting packages, or will result in the suspension of your account.

Terms of Business

All sales are subject to the following trading terms - these terms and conditions do not affect the consumers' statutory rights.

We guarantee that the service we supply will be to the correct specification as advertised however we are unable to guarantee precise compatability or suitability. It is the responsibility of the customer to check this prior to ordering. We try to ensure that all information provided is as accurate as possible but we cannot be held responsible for any typographical errors in our advertising on our website.

We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason whatsoever. No order will be considered binding unless and until it is accepted by the company.

All prices quoted are in £ sterling. UK and EU residents pay the VAT inclusive price (inclusive at the current rate of 17.5%). Non-EU residents/VAT exempt pay the VAT exclusive price (subject to an administrative fee for VAT reclaim forms).

Payment terms are by credit/debit card.

Title of the services remain with Speedy.uk.net until payment has been made in full.

Any shortages to your purchase must be advised to the company within 5 days of delivery. Provided that this notice is given, we will correct free of charge.

All services are offered subject to availability. If for any reason they are no longer available we will try to offer an alternative product, otherwise we reserve the right to cancel the contract and offer a refund.

Users wanting to transfer a domain away from Speedy.UK.net will be charged a transfer fee of £39 +VAT for each domain transfer.

Important - Distance Selling Regulations

Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel a contract within seven days - starting from the day after your account is opened (a "cooling off" period). You have the right to cancel for any reason without penalty. Note this does not apply to domain names already purchased.

If you wish to cancel a contract, please write to us, fax us or e-mail clearly stating your full details, invoice number and cancellation instructions. To cancel the contract, you must give us notice within seven working days starting from the day after you take delivery or collect the order.

Once you have cancelled the contract, you have a legal "duty of care" to take good care of the goods.

We will refund you the full amount paid for the goods, less any costs to collect the goods, within 30 days of receipt of the notice of cancellation.

Consumer Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and do not affect the statutory rights of the consumer. We meet our obligations under the current consumer regulation in force including:
