Name Transfers

Transfer to Speedy.uk.net

If you already own a domain name, you can transfer it to us to use with your Speedy.uk.net web hosting and email.

In order to transfer a name to us, there is a certain procedure which you must follow:

Domain Transfer Procedure for .co.uk / .ltd.uk /.org.uk domains:

  1. You will first need to contact the Internet Service Provider (ISP) you registered your domain(s) name with. (If you do not know you can email us at transfer@speedy.uk.net with your domain(s) name to try and find out.)
  2. You will then need to ask the ISP to transfer the TAG over to Speedy.UK.net (TAG: "ROCKETUK").
  3. Every ISP has its own policy for how to transfer domains away from them. You will need to contact them to establish the exact procedure, but click here to view a general guideline of the information needed when contacting your ISP.
  4. Once you have requested for the TAG to be transferred. Please fill in the Domain Transfer to Speedy.UK.net form below, so that we know about the domain transfer.
  5. If you haven't been contacted within 5 working days by either your ISP or Speedy.UK.net to say the domain(s) transfer is complete. Then we suggest that you contact your ISP.
  6. Please include some contact details in case we need to contact you in case of a problem.
    Note: The "Username" referred to is the username you use on Speedy.UK.net
Domain Transfer Procedure for .com / .org / .net / .biz / .info domains:

  2. You will then need to ask the ISP to Release and Unlock your domain name(s) to Speedy.UK.net

  4. Once you have requested for the domain(s) to be released and unlocked. Please fill in the Domain Transfer to Speedy.UK.net form below, so that we know about the domain transfer.
  5. If you haven't been contacted within 5 working days by either your ISP or SpeedyUK.net to say the domain transfer is complete. Then we suggest that you contact your ISP.
  6. Please include some contact details in case we need to contact you in case of a problem.
